Doing this is a lot of work

What do I mean by "this"? Being a photographer and a videographer. Both of which I have a passion for and take seriously. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE doing this stuff, it is by far my favorite passtime other than guitar hero. But man it is exausting.

I do a weekly shoot every Friday at the Norway Speedway. I do both the track photos and videos. While racing starts at 7pm, getting ready (for me) starts on Thursday at around 10pm after I get off work.

1. First I have to format the SD cards for both my DSLR and Camcorder, and make sure that nothing goes wrong in doing so.

2. I then have to charge all of my batteries. 12 in total. And make sure ALL of them are fully charged.

3. I get to the track at around 3:30 - 4pm so I can have time to take photos of the cars practicing. This goes on for about an hour.

4. Then the qualifying starts. I take pictures of these also for all of the drivers to enjoy. This starts at around 5 - 5:30. 

5. Then when qualifying is done, the racing begins at 7:00pm and ends at around 10:00pm. This is when I do a hybrid of recording every single race, and getting some other photos of the cars aswell. With almost no time to sit, go to the bathroom, or get something to eat / drink. And for my fatass, standing for a straight 7 hours from 3-10 hurts. A lot.

6. Then I have to go home and edit the photos and videos. 

7. Lastly, I upload them all the next day around noon. Both to my own facebook page, and the Norway Speedway one as well. This process also takes about 2 hours to complete.

And then repeat for next week. I might also add that I dont get payed to do this, but do it out of love for both my passion of photography and videography, and the sport. It pays in exposure to my personal photography "business".

So here I am at 3:00am, writing this. Currently waiting for my website " photos.koalaz.org " to redirect to my new photo drive. Which was a whole process in itself. I had to purchase a google workspace account and make and transfer ALL of my photos to there which also took a good few hours.

Doing this along with maintaining my YouTube, TikTok, work, and eventually school, is going to be another very big challenge.

Like I said, this stuff isnt easy. But its so damn fun I cant quit.
